RECLAIMED

Reclaimed wood is wood that has been taken from old buildings and structures for re-use in different construction applications. Most of the “reclaimed” material comes from old factory buildings, barns, and warehouses that are deconstructed once they no longer have the economic value they once did. The character of the original, old-growth wood tends to differ significantly from the same species that are found in the forests nowadays. The tight, dense grain pattern is a sign of stability, and the pulse of longevity.

Sustainable Flooring offers a wide variety of “solid” and “engineered” reclaimed wood flooring products. Due to the “supply and demand” nature of Reclaimed Wood products, availability varies along with market derived fluctuations in price. Please call for further information.
