Cork Acoustical Underlayment
Sustainable Flooring offers a full line of acoustical cork underlayment products, both in tiles and rolls. It is an ideal, low-cost, naturally resilient, and easy to install sound-deadening and thermal insulation system. It can be used under any tile or hardwood floor (great to use with bamboo). Commercially, our cork underlayment is becoming the standard for acoustical suppression in multi-family dwellings and apartment and office complexes. It is ideal for any hardwood floor, and can be used as a replacement for cementitious tile underlayment.
Cork Fabric
Our upholstery-grade fabric is made of resilient cork veneer laminated onto a dimensionally stable polyester backing. Suitable for use in clothing (jackets, pants, shoes, etc.), for furnishings (sofas, wall coverings, etc.), and with soft-goods (purses, bags, etc.), our fabric can be machine washed (90 degree F), and is an ideal environmental replacement to cow leather.
